Alexandra started working there and in Germany in private practice and then in 1988 she moved to England to work in the NHS.
In 2000 she began her own private practice clinic for physiotherapy treatment, based in North Devon and situated close to both Barnstaple and Braunton.
Over the years she has gained a wide range of experience in all aspects of rehabilitation but predominantly in the musculo-skeletal field.
She still continues to update herself with the latest developments in physiotherapy treatment in order to provide a high standard of skills and care.
She is State Registered and a Chartered Physiotherapist, also a Member of the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice and a Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
In 2008 she joined the Orthopaedic Interface Service at North Devon Hospital Barnstaple as the Advanced Upper Limb Physiotherapist Practitioner specialising in shoulder problems, where you may also know Alexandra as Sandra Pickett.
Veronica Wilson has over 30 years experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist.
For the last 14 years, she has worked with people with rheumatological conditions, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Anyklosing Spondylitis and related conditions. The treatment modalities offered include manual and exercise therapy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, massage, etc.
She has also treated people in their own homes with mobility problems due to arthritis, neurology and orthopaedic problems.
